WHOLE HOME STAND-BY GENERATOR

Why install a whole home stand-by generator?

Never be left in the dark during a power outage again!

Your generator will automatically power on in the event of a power outage.

Generator runs periodically throughout the year to ensure functionality in the event of a power failure.

Built in WiFi allows you to check the status even when you are not home.

(When WiFi is available.)

Generator will automatically switch off once power has been restored.

You can get your generator fully installed in one day.

What size of generator do I need?

There are many options for generator sizing based upon what your needs are. Click the button below to use the generator sizing calculator to see a few recommendations, or call our office to talk about your needs.

What does it take to have a generator installed?

There are four components for a complete stand-by generator system:

A Generac Generator

An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)

Electrical wiring between the utility meter, the ATS, the generator, and the main breaker panel.

A Gas Line

How much does it cost?

Typically customers can expect a price point of around $10,000-12,000 for a complete system.

If you choose to furnish your own generator and/or gas line, we can quote the electrical or other components separately.

Lighthouse Electric installs Generac whole home stand-by generators and provides yearly testing and maintenance.

We do not service or repair internal components of generators.
